Everything Cornhusk

Cornhusk is a pure catalyst to the ancestors. Working with cornhusk is like reaching back to the time of our ancient ancestors.
Corn is still grown, harvested and the husk is still braided (for storing corn) the same as it has been for thousands of years over many generations. Corn husk sculpting (a distinctly Lake Ontario-region art form) is our way to celebrate our stories, express them to each other and share them with the world. Most of the works on display are either made from cornhusk or celebrate the traditional cornhusk doll figure.
